Mrs. Madinah Day,

My mother has been in a relation with this man for seven years. She has always put his needs before the needs of her children which is me and Bobby. I can’t remember the last time she made a home cooked meal for me and my brother. However, she manages to get dress and go out with this man who I do not like. He has made advance at me on several occasions. He has pulled me on his lap several times to ask me how was my day. It’s very uncomfortable for me. And my mother acts like she hasn’t seen it. She’s walked in on some questionable situations but she acts as if she didn’t witness it. What is wrong with my mother? I’ll be out of her house in a year…but what do I do about my brother. He is 8 years younger than me. I don’t want to leave him there when I go off to school. Help…What should I do.
